ABOUT THE CHEF

 

I am a life-long vegetarian, so I have never eaten an animal.

I was raised by my soulful father, who was a Chiropractor, and my loving mother who is an amazing vegan chef. From these deep holistic roots, I have branched far out into the radiant world of plant-based cuisine.

My career path started with my first kitchen job at 14 yrs old. I was a prep chef for a high-end restaurant in my hometown, quickly moving up to salad/appetizer/dessert chef. After this I worked in various restaurants in every position from server to restaurant manager. My path blossomed when I took the role of produce manager & produce buyer for Whole Foods Market. Here I became a fruit and vegetable expert. Every summer I fruit-fast for at least a month and I juice-fast intermittently throughout the year.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are the fountain of youth and the key to super immunity. 

From there I became the Healthy Eating Specialist for Whole Foods Market South Beach, Miami. In this soul-expanding position I had the opportunity to educate and inspire thousands of adults, teachers, and school children on the importance of eating a vegan diet and how to transform fruits and vegetables into delicious cuisine.

During this era, I became a certified holistic health coach & a trained holistic vegan chef.

I helped my clients help themselves through private cooking lessons, pantry makeovers, and customized meal plans.

After 5 blissful years in South Beach, I was recruited to NYC as a consultant to create a 50-item vegan menu for a holistic health center in Manhattan. This was a wonderful creative experience.

I then became consulting chef & kitchen manager at a raw vegan chocolate factory in Brooklyn. I’m proud to say that I can successfully turn a cacao bean into a velvety raw chocolate bar. 

After a record breaking chocolate season, I accepted a position as Steven Meisel’s full-time private chef. In this role I utilized everything I've learned throughout my career. After an amazing 12 months cooking for Steven, I moved back to Miami and started my private chef delivery service.

I consider it a great responsibility and an honor to be a private chef.

I am living my destiny and I love serving my clients the most nutrient-dense, mouth watering plant-based cuisine on earth. My mission in life is to help people improve their health and guide them to their truth. 

My work is an extension of myself, because this is my lifestyle.

I am a honey vegan & I have two vegan dogs. I make all my food from scratch & I only eat organic. I believe in my immune system & I trust in the healing power of nature. I give thanks.
